Name: Lucia

  • Age: 2-3 years
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Lucia is a self-sufficient and independent lady who prefers the company of humans but is also doing well with other cats after proper introductions. However, her presence around people doesn’t come without its terms: a never-ending supply of treats, an array of toys to chase, and lots of head kisses! Lucia enjoys occasional full body pets, head rubs, and chin scratches, but she has boundaries when it comes to too much petting or going anywhere near her tummy.

Lucia is a young and active cat, who loves playing with fluffy mice, swatting at wand toys and chasing the laser! It’s important for Lucia to have play time everyday because she has lots of energy. She does well playing on her own, but really enjoys playing with wand toys. We suspect that her previous owners might have allowed her wrestle with their hands and arms. She will need continued training to learn that hands are not toys. Due to this, she would do best in a home without children.

While Lucia likes to play, she is also known as the nap queen! She is a quiet girl who loves to cuddle up in bed with her people, and relax by the window sill to nap as she watches the birdies. Lucia is a sweet and beautiful cat who is looking for her forever home!

About Us

Stray Cat Relief is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing sterilization services and medical care to the stray cats in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our focus is finding homes for stray cats who’ve been abandoned and giving them a new chance at a loving home.
We are passionate about educating the community on the wellbeing of the stray animals in their neighborhood while also improving people’s lives by providing spay/neuter services to reduce the homeless animals on the streets.
We are a foster home and donation based rescue.
