In December 2020, someone reached out to us about a car they found laying in the middle in the street in South Philly.
<\/p>\n\n

They approached the cat but she wouldn\u2019t move. After a little coaxing, she slowly crawled underneath a car. The person was able to get her to crawl into a box and that\u2019s when she contacted us. <\/p><\/div>\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n

Ellie was rushed over to our vet for examination. They weren’t sure if she was hit by a car but they performed a bunch of diagnostics on her. Everything came back unremarkable except her bloodwork showed anemia and other deficits relating to malnutrition. Ellie also had a bit of difficulty in walking.<\/p>\n\n

After lots of treatment, love and care, Ellie made a full recovery and went on to be adopted into the most loving home!<\/p>\n\n

We got this message from her adopter about 6 months after…<\/p>\n\n

\u201cEllie is doing wonderful. She’s by far the sweetest animal I’ve ever met. I’ve also never had an animal so attached to me. She yells at me anytime I’m not picking her up but that’s how she shows affection. She’s my best friend and I’m grateful you folks found her and took good care of her.\u201c<\/p>\n\n
