Meet Lola!  Lola would be a great companion to anyone looking for a cuddle-buddy who wants to curl up with a good book and a kitty at their side.  Lola is about 2 years old, in great health, and is one of the sweetest and friendliest cats we have found.  Lola was found hiding under a car, malnourished, in Southwest Philly, but came running up to us happily when we put down cans of food.  We noticed she had just had kittens, and were heart-broken to find out first-hand from the previous owner that they put her out on the street because they did not want her any longer, but kept her kittens away from her inside their home.  We were ecstatic to take the whole family into our shelter and reunite and revive them.  Lola likes to show us her appreciation for taking her off the streets and reuniting her with her kittens by resting her paw on our legs while she nursed her kittens and looking up into our eyes, as if saying, “Thank you!”  She is loving, easy-going, and so incredibly sweet!  Lola would also likely thrive in a home with other cats, if you already have a cat family!

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
