Our mission is to provide the best care possible for outdoor cats, while rescuing the cats and kittens who have the chance of living out the remainder of their lives in a forever home.
We are always looking for fur-loving friends to join our team and provide assistance in the many areas it takes to run this organization. There lots of activities you can become involved in that will work with your schedule and desired level of involvement. From one-off events to putting your talents to use on the operations side, we are ready for your help!
Volunteer Application
Below are some of the ways you can volunteer your time and make a wonderful impact. We are open to other ways in which you see yourself making an impact. Just send us a message and we will make it happen.
Build Shelters
Join with other SCRF volunteers on our Shelter Build Days to build brand new or refurbish existing shelters as the seasons change.
Trap-Neuter-Return
Join our trapping team or help transport cats to and from their outdoor colonies to veterinary clinics for medical care or to their new foster family.
All Other Needs
There are many ways that you can help! Activities include collecting food, supplying donations, educating others on the benefits of TNR (or about cats in general), and many more. Let us help you find the best fit for you!
Want to help but do not have the time right now to volunteer?
Our outdoor colony kitties eat thousands of pounds of food per year. Many rescued cats require medical care and humane population control such as TNR, which is costly. If you are looking for other ways to help save lives, please consider supporting SCRF by making a tax deductible contribution via PayPal or Amazon. Every dollar counts.
As primarily a volunteer-based organization, any assistance provided goes straight to helping cats. Donations provide for food, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, medical care and shelter to keep them safe during bad weather.
