During her recovery, Mona kept her distance—shy and reserved. But on the day she was set to be released back outside, something remarkable happened: Mona approached her caretaker and asked for pets. That simple gesture changed everything.

Now, Mona is looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved. She thrives in a quiet, mellow environment and needs time to build trust, but once she knows you, she will be your loyal shadow—curled up next to you, asking for gentle pets, or even sitting in your lap.

Because Mona likes affection on her own terms, she would do best in a home without young children. She’s lived peacefully with other cats, but would also be perfectly content as your one and only feline companion.
