When we found Liza, she was just a baby—barely a year old—curled up and trembling in the bitter cold, abandoned and alone.
The frostbite had already set in. And then, before our eyes, the tips of her ears literally fell off.
It was one of the most heartbreaking things we’ve ever seen.
But somehow, this brave little girl held on—not just to life, but to joy.
Today, Liza is safe, warm, and healing—and she’s making up for lost time with so much playfulness and personality. She’s a black-and-white “moo cat” full of zoomies, sass, and spunk. She loves her toys, loves her humans, and will keep you laughing with her goofy antics and kittenish energy.
She’s been through the worst, so it’s no surprise she’s not too fond of other animals. After all she’s endured, Liza deserves to be someone’s one and only.
Her ear tips may be gone, but they took none of her sweetness, none of her spirit, and zero of her charm.
Liza is living proof that love can heal what the cold tried to take.
All she needs now is a forever home where she’ll never be left out in the cold again.
