Muni
left behind by the river, still full of love 🌊

She was found alone near the Delaware River, tucked into the brush with no collar, no microchip, and no one coming back. The water moved past her, steady and indifferent, while the world above carried on. Muni waited. Not for rescue—just for something to change.

She wasn’t the only one. Eleni was there too, raising kittens in the underbrush. Templeton, Finra, Ken, and Divi lingered nearby—each with their own story of survival. They didn’t huddle. They didn’t cling. But they knew each other. A quiet constellation of cats, scattered along the riverbank, bound by circumstance and silence.

Muni didn’t cry out. She didn’t chase after footsteps. She simply stayed—soft, watchful, impossibly gentle. A quiet friend in the shadows.

Now, Muni is safe. She leans into kindness like she’s been starved for it, and maybe she has. She’s playful in soft bursts, tender in her gaze, and full of quiet resilience. She carries the hush of the river in her spirit, but she’s learning how to be held. How to be chosen.

She doesn’t need the river anymore. She needs a home. A place where love flows toward her, not past her. A place where she’s not forgotten. A place where she’s finally seen. 🧺🌙🍂
