🖤 Simone — the mother who never stopped protecting her babies 🖤

*See Jasper & Jagger, Nova & Nina, Myla*

Simone didn’t choose to be a survivor — she became one the moment her people walked out and left her entire family behind. One day she had a home, food bowls that were filled, water dishes that never ran dry. The next, she was standing in the middle of an empty house with her five babies pressed against her, the door closed, the world suddenly silent.

The food disappeared.

The water disappeared.

The days blurred into a long stretch of fear and hunger.

But Simone never wavered.

She wrapped her body around her kittens, kept Myla close at her side, and did everything a mother could possibly do with nothing. She groomed them, comforted them, and tried to keep them warm as their tiny bodies grew thinner and weaker. She stayed strong because they needed her to be.

When rescuers finally arrived and cracked open a can of food, Simone didn’t rush forward for herself. She watched her babies fly to the sound first, making sure they were eating, making sure they were safe. Only then did she take her turn. That’s who she is — a mother whose love never faltered, even when the world abandoned her.

Simone leans into gentle hands now with a softness that feels almost sacred. She blinks slowly, gratefully, like she’s still surprised that kindness exists. She checks on her babies constantly, even now, even safe. Her devotion is stitched into every movement she makes.

She is tenderness.

She is resilience.

She is the quiet, steady heart that kept her family alive.

Simone is ready for a home where she will finally be cherished — not for what she survived, but for the loving mother she has always been.
