Name: Tammy

  • Age: 1-2 years old
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Siamese
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Meet Tammy, AKA cheesy poof, AKA cheddar biscuit! Tammy is a sweet and friendly girl. She likes following you around chirping for pets, and appreciates being picked up and told she’s a good girl. She was a mere 2 pounds with a broken hip when she was rescued, but after her hip repair she has healed perfectly and chonked up into the glorious specimen you see here. She loves to play and chase toys, and will sleep right next to you in bed. She is very outgoing with new people, walking right up for pets and scritches. We think she would do best as an only cat. She is not aggressive with other cats, but she is a little scared of them and generally just stays away. While she’s a very sweet girl, she still sometimes gets startled at fast movements or defensive around her “safe spot”, and will need an adopter who can be patient with her and occasionally give her the space she needs as she
learns that she’s 100% safe now.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
