Name: Ivy *Senior*

  • Age: 11 years
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black & White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

If you’re looking for a lifelong companion, Ivy is your cat.  She is extremely loving, affectionate, cuddly and just wants to love and be loved.   She is a talker who purrs immediately when given attention.  Ivy would thrive in a house without other pets.

Ivy has a sad story.  Five years ago she was rescued from a hoarder situation in Philly.  She was then adopted by an elderly woman who is now 84 with major health issues and unfortunately cannot care for her anymore.  She was devastated giving up Ivy, but had no other choice.  Ivy is hyperthyroid which is very common in cats.  She needs medication twice a day which is easily rubbed on her ear.

Ivy would be a wonderful companion for anyone who wants to adopt her and give her the forever home she deserves.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
