Tanaya has always loved cats and joined SCRF as a volunteer in 2024 when she moved to South Philadelphia and began trapping neighborhood cats for TNR. Soon after she started volunteering with SCRF, she began managing the SCRF Instagram to help the rescue reach more cat lovers. Tanaya is passionate about using social media to amplify the tireless work of the volunteers and connect with a wider community of advocates. She also supports the rescue through her work with the grant writing team, volunteering at the adoption center, and organizing fundraising events.
