Name: Arizona

  • Age: 13 Years Old
  • Color: Tuxedo
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Arizona, a gentle senior Tuxedo, is in search of a serene sanctuary where she can finally rest. At 13 years old, this resilient lady has journeyed from the harsh streets, where she was once a mere 3.5 pounds and in constant pain from bad teeth. With a loving hand, she’s regained her strength and now enjoys both dry and wet food with ease, despite missing a few teeth.

Life has made her cautious, and she might greet you with a hiss if startled, but don’t be fooled—Arizona is all grace and gentleness, never resorting to claws or bites. She prefers the quiet comfort of a cozy hideaway but has discovered the simple joy of being pet by those who take the time to earn her trust.  Arizona is a true diplomat, coexisting peacefully with other animals—dogs, cats, and even fish. She’s FIV+ but promises to be the most polite of houseguests, never causing trouble, nibbling on plants, or dipping a paw in the fish tank. Her pleasures are simple: a dash of catnip and a good scratching box.

This sweet, shy soul is ready for a peaceful forever home where she can unfold at her own pace, bringing quiet companionship and the warmth of a love long deserved.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
