Name: Arwen

  • Age: 2
  • Gender: female
  • Color: White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Meet beautiful Arwen, she came into our rescue after a mass trap in Grey Ferry in January 2019.  Arwen was very sickly and frail on intake, she nearly passed over the rainbow bridge during her spay surgery but thanks to the strong medical teams we work with was able to make a full recovery.  We do not believe Arwen was ever a house cat prior to rescue, is a bit shy and just enjoys her life as an indoor cat.

LIKES:  Arwen enjoys sitting atop of her cat tree, head scratches, hanging in empty shipping boxes and just being in a warm comfy home which she never knew before.  She is best suited for a quiet home.  She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body but has never been around children or dogs.  She is currently being fostered in a multi-cat household and does engage in play with the other cats occasionally.  A high energy home would not be a good fit.

DISLIKES:  Loud noises, strangers until she gets comfortable and scratches around her mouth.

She’s a beautiful and special girl with a quiet demeanor like her namesake Arwen from Lord of the Rings.  If you haven’t noticed, Arwen’s best characteristic is her multi-colored eyes.

She’ll make someone a wonderful companion.
