Name: Birdie

  • Age: 1 year
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black & White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Birdie is from the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia.  When her owners moved out of their apartment, they left her behind and she was hiding in part of the wall.  A kind man working in the apartment reached out for help and now, Birdie is looking for her forever family.  She is young and appears to be under a year old, so she is energetic, but also chill. She loves to be around people, seeks affection, and reaches her paw out to you if she does not get your attention fast enough. Birdie is a talkative girl and makes a cute little chirping sound just like a bird.  She gets along well with other cats and although she has not been around dogs regularly yet, they do not seem to bother her at all.  Birdie is sweet, has lots of love to give, and is just looking to be loved in return.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
