Name: Ellie

  • Age: 7-8 years old
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black
  • Type: Cats, Female

Meet Ellie Cat!  Ellie is a sweet older girl who is approximately 8 years old, spayed, vaccinated and felv/FIV negative.  She is a super lovable lap cat who would do best in a home without other cats. Her fur is super cool as it is white at the base and then black at the tips!  After being bullied on the streets, she just wants an owner to snuggle with and keep her safe.   Ellie was scooped up in a cardboard box when a Good Samaritan saw her crouching under a car.   She appeared injured and had a gash on her head.  SCRF got her to the vet for X-rays and antibiotics.   After a week or so in foster care it became clear in addition to her wounds her teeth were giving her trouble.  Now that her teeth have been fixed up and she has gained a little weight, Ellie is ready for her furever home where she can be safe and loved.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
