Name: Ellie Mae (Tripod)

  • Age: 4
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black & White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Ellie Mae was found in an alley in Southwest Philly with her front leg caught in an illegal wild animal trap.  She was stuck and trying to fight off other cats who were trying to attack her.  She was rushed to the vet, but her leg couldn’t be saved.  It was crushed and so infected that it had to be amputated.  Ellie Mae is now recovering in her foster home.  She is so sweet and affectionate and loves to snuggle in her foster mom’s arms.  She is still getting the hang of having three legs, but doing very well.  This precious little girl has been through so much and deserves the best home ever!  Will you be that special person to love Ellie Mae forever?

About Us

Stray Cat Relief is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing sterilization services and medical care to the stray cats in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our focus is finding homes for stray cats who’ve been abandoned and giving them a new chance at a loving home.
We are passionate about educating the community on the wellbeing of the stray animals in their neighborhood while also improving people’s lives by providing spay/neuter services to reduce the homeless animals on the streets.
We are a foster home and donation based rescue.
