Name: Eve

  • Age: 4-5
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Black/White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Hello, my name is Eve and I’m a total LAP CAT and a hug monster, wrapping my loving paws around your neck. I’m super chill and not skittish at all and I’d be the purrfect companion for someone who’s retired or a loving family who can spend time with me. Wondering how I got my name? My human dumped me at a cat colony with my favorite bed & blanket on New Year’s EVE. A nice woman found me and brought me to my foster mom who noticed I wasn’t eating, drinking or going potty. I was so traumatized that I shut down emotionally and physically. I stared blankly at the walls wondering how my human could do such a thing after giving them 4 years of unconditional love. My foster mom took me to the vet right away to find out what was going on and after 3 vet visits, blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds, nothing was wrong with me, except a broken heart. With lots of love and attention from the crazy cat ladies that came to visit me, I started feeling better. Now that I’m settled in and a very happy girl, I’m ready to spend my days hugging you tight, snuggling on your lap or just being close to you. And did you notice my Marilyn Monroe beauty mark? And check me out learning to do the splits. Lol!

About Us

SCRF’s mission is to prevent kittens being born into homelessness by providing Trap-Neuter-Return services. Additionally, SCRF provides medical care to urgently-sick strays in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Our focus is to find homes for stray cats who would have been abandoned and give them a chance at a loving home. We are 100% foster and donation based. We do not have a physical shelter location.
