We found Frankie outside without a home in the summer. He would call and call and call and it seemed like he’d been abandoned or forgotten. Finally he started to enter our backyard when we called and we would feed him, but that was when we noticed he was obviously very sick and also was not neutered.
We reached out to tons of rescue organizations but only SCRF came to our assistance with supplies and a promise for vet help. We brought him in and slowly watched this scared and tiny kitten grow into a sweet, calm, healthy young cat. After lots and lots of trips to the vet for his tummy problems and a lung infection, Frankie got much better. He is extremely playful, curious, and cuddly. He gets along well with our older resident cat as well! He is an amazing addition to our home and hearts.
