Name: Gracie Jo (Felv+)

  • Age: 3 years
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Gray & White
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Gracie Jo is a stunning southern belle looking for a new start on the East Coast. Through no fault of her own, Gracie found herself abandoned by her former family and living as a porch kitty. After a number of reports of coyote attacks on outdoor cats in her neighborhood, a good samaritan helped her make the long flight East to settle into her forever family. Gracie is a petite gray tuxedo girl who is nine-years young. She has some of the softest fur we’ve ever seen, which makes us think she may have some Russian Blue in her background. Gracie is very friendly and loves a good bed to snuggle in and lots of belly rubs. She is a laid back girl who prefers mealtime to playtime but still enjoys hanging with her humans. Her southern roots are still evident in her foster home, where she readily greets her family with the cutest little chirp as if to say, “Hey Y’all!”

Even though she has perfect manners, Gracie has been through a lot. After being dumped, she was attacked by another cat which resulted in her losing sight in one of her eyes. It doesn’t bother her or cause her any issues though, in fact, it makes her look like a pirate! Gracie unfortunately has also tested positive for Felv. With the proper preventative vet care, Gracie Jo can still live a long, happy and healthy life even with this autoimmune diagnosis. However, because of her status, she needs a forever home where she is either the only cat (Felv is not contagious to humans, dogs, pigs, birds, or any other species!) or with another Felv+ feline friend.

If you are looking for a charming, yet slightly imperfect kitty, who may or may not be a pirate, look no further than Ms. Gracie Jo.
