Meet Hemingway, the charming 3-year-old Himalayan, who is a true standout in the feline world! His captivating blue eyes, chocolate-colored silky coat and striking color points make him an irresistible boy.  Hemingway possesses a personality that will melt your heart. This cross-eyed goofball does something amusing daily, ensuring that there’s never a dull moment with him around. Whether he’s zooming around the room, engaging in playful antics or chirping nonstop until he’s fed, this boy has a knack for spreading joy throughout the day.  He likes other felines and adapted well among his foster’s other cats. But don’t be fooled by his playful nature—Hemingway is also very laid back and a sweetheart who craves human affection. He loves curling up in your lap, purring contentedly as you shower him with gentle pets. Beyond his physical charm and endearing personality, Hemingway has been a remarkably adaptable cat with time and lots of love (The brush is the magic tool to bond with him).  He prefers a calmer house and bonds closely with his significant human(s) once he knows you’re his forever, but he hides when strangers arrive. Don’t most cats? Ha! It’s suspected he was used for breeding and then dumped near the woods when he was no longer useful.  We’ll never understand how someone could dump this magnificent cat with so much love to share. In terms of care, Hemingway’s stunning Himalayan coat requires regular grooming to keep it looking its best. He loves getting brushed and will happily sit as you help him maintain his elegant appearance.  If you’re not up to maintaining this exquisite cat, Hemingway is probably not for you. This boy is FIV+ and recently had a good vet check-up and dental. He does need a home that is able to provide him vet care when needed due to his immune system. He’s an indoor cat only who appreciates a cozy spot to relax, soak up the sun, and observe the world around him.  If you’re seeking a companion who will bring laughter, endless love, and entertainment into your life, Hemingway is the perfect match.
