Name: Jack

  • Age: 2-4 years
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Brown & White Tabby
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes
Jack came to SCRF after a local had spotted him following their dog around on walks. He’s since been in foster care with a dog and cat, and is adapting to the indoor cat life smoothly! It’s hard to imagine that this food-loving guy was once a stray, though he does love to watch the outside from a comfy window perch.
Every day, Jack gets more social, quirky, and warms up to everyone around him. An introvert at first, he now shares meals with his foster brother Bumi and a couch with his foster momma. He loves playing with toys (ping pong balls being a favorite), wrestling with Bumi, and harassing the dog in the house to keep her on her toes. He’s also quite the skilled hunter, having caught a surprise mouse in no time at all! Consider your home safe from invaders with him around.
Jack’s ideal forever home would include a fellow kitty playmate, or a family that would give him the playtime and enrichment he needs. While he’s tolerant of dogs, he could live with or without them. He can be grumpy when being picked up or handled incorrectly, so a child-free home is preferred.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
