Meet Kip!

Kip was trapped in a very bad section of N. Wilmington. His owners were evicted, and their cats were left and boarded up in the abandoned home.  Neighbors heard them crying and broke into the house to let them out. The cats were living in an alley with very little food as it’s a poor area and the people living there can barely take care of themselves.   A homeless woman told our organization about these cats and we trapped them.

Well now that is all behind him! Kip is as friendly to people as he is to cats. He’s a love bug all around! He loves chin scratches and enjoys being brushed. His full of love personality also extends to food! Haha. Kip has a good appetite and loves wet food and treats. He is 10lbs of sweetness and very agile. Kip is very laid back and would fit in with any number of kitties. And of course he needs lots of love from his humans too!

About Us

Stray Cat Relief is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing sterilization services and medical care to the stray cats in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our focus is finding homes for stray cats who’ve been abandoned and giving them a new chance at a loving home.
We are passionate about educating the community on the wellbeing of the stray animals in their neighborhood while also improving people’s lives by providing spay/neuter services to reduce the homeless animals on the streets.
We are a foster home and donation based rescue.
