Name: Landon

  • Age: 3-4 years
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Black & White
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Landon was a community cat for at least a year or more. He was a very friendly guy living outside getting regular meals. He was so social and nice that we wanted to see how he may like the house cat life. He seems to enjoys its comforts and shows no interest at evening looking out the front screen door!

He’s got a quirky, big personality and loves to talk. Landon LOVES meal times and is highly food motivated and seems to derive a lot of comfort from it (probably as a result of his time outside). He will boss you around during meal time, complaining that you are not feeding him fast enough!

He loves rubbing all over your legs, his way of communicating. He enjoys pets but also likes to hide away in his tunnel for alone time and naps. He enjoys chilling on your lap too on occasion. Once you’ve been chosen as his person, he will follow you around demanding your attention. Landon is actually just a big baby and is needy in his own way which is quite endearing considering how long he lived outside. He’s a quite loyal buddy.

Landon is in a foster home with several cats and generally does well except he gets a little food possessive. He doesn’t seem to mind their presence but also doesn’t seem to need other cats. I think he ideally would do best solo or with one other cat (but he won’t be looking to be a buddy for your cat). He definitely will shine with more one on one time. He is really sweet, laid back, and oh loves to swat around his mice toys too! His play time actually serves as a good outlet for his food obsession.

Landon is really becoming a great house cat and will be a great buddy in the right home.
