Name: Lewis

  • Age: 2
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Orange Tabby & White
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Lewis is a handsome boy around 2 years old who was rescued as a stray with an injury to his tail. He was following people passing by looking for love and attention but was just ignored. Luckily someone with a heart came across him and reached out to us so we scooped him up to get him medical care. His tail is now healed and his fur is growing back. He has really opened up in foster after his tail felt better which we think made him a little nervous at first. He will try to cuddle up close to you on the couch looking for affection and loving pets. He’s much more playful yet relaxed and doesn’t mind spending time on his own as well..until he’s ready for his next cuddle session! He also loves sitting on his cat tree and looking out the window.

He was found with two of his buddies Hemingway and Shakespeare (all three names after famous writers) so we think he would be ok with other cats with slow and proper introductions. Either way, Lewis would make a great companion!

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
