Name: Liam

  • Age: 2-3 years old
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Tabby and white
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Liam is the best puppykitty you’ll ever meet!

Puppy kitty? That’s right – Liam is one of those exceptional cats that have adorable dog-like tendencies while still being a perfect cat! Just like a loyal puppy Liam will follow you around, lay at your feet, come when called, let you hold his big puppykitty paw and tap your leg to let you it’s playtime! And like a perfect kitty he will snuggle up with you, give you head butts and kitty kisses, and show off his impressive “hunting” skills on catnip toys.

Liam has a sad story that brought him into rescue. He was trapped late at night during a TNR event. When the trapper took off the trap cover she was shocked to see he was bleeding from the eyes. And even MORE shocked that he wasn’t feral at all! Liam immediately mewed at her and wanted to be pet! Sweet Liam had entropian – a painful condition where the eyelids turn inward scratching and ulcerating the eyes. This poor cat had clearly been socialized as a very young kitten and then his humans never bothered to fix him or help him with his eyes. So he was abandoned alone, practically blind, waiting for the cover of night to scavenge scraps. Very fortunately his entropian surgery was successful and his eyes were able to be saved!

Liam is THRIVING in foster care and is SO grateful to be inside, healthy and loved again. He is a very sweet and loving cat. He loves to play and is good with kids of all ages! He is great with other cats and due to his personality would probably be fine with well behaved dogs with a proper introduction. He has perfect litterbox manners, never overeats, uses his floor scratcher never furniture and if he ever needs medicine he takes it with no wriggling or fighting at all. He’s approximately 3-4 years old and is fixed, vaccinated and Fiv/FeLV negative!

Liam is so ready to be the perfect family puppykitty!!! He so deserves a REAL forever family who appreciates him.

About Us

SCRF’s mission is to prevent kittens being born into homelessness by providing Trap-Neuter-Return services. Additionally, SCRF provides medical care to urgently-sick strays in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Our focus is to find homes for stray cats who would have been abandoned and give them a chance at a loving home. We are 100% foster and donation based. We do not have a physical shelter location.
