Name: Loki

  • Gender: male
  • Color: Black
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Jackson (AKA Loki), is looking for love and ready to commit to a forever home with you! He was found abandoned at the Philadelphia Navy Yard trying to make friends with any passersby. Once in foster care, it was evident he was starved for attention and will literally reach out or meow to you to spend time with him.

He loves being by your side and sometimes acts more like a playful puppy. He asks for lots of petting by rolling over on his back in the hopes of enticing you to rub his belly. He also loves sitting on a lap and will quiet down while getting his head and neck pet. Otherwise, he is curious, high energy, and playful and loves lots of attention and interaction.

He does well with dedicated playtime and he really enjoys chasing wand toys with feathers or a stuffed toy at the end. He has a big appetite and likes both wet and dry food (especially pate) and is not a picky eater. His dislikes include being kept in the bathroom by himself or being ignored when he wants attention. He would do well in a house with no other pets and a pet parent who works from home to keep him company most days.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
