  • Color: Calico
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Breed: Calico

Meet Lottie! This lovely, unique calico girl has had some rough years on the mean streets of Philly, but she didn’t let that harden her! She is SO ready to LOVE and be loved in her forever home. Her foster family has witnessed Lottie’s first ever experience indoors and has been amazed at how well indoor life suits her. She doesn’t miss the streets one bit, she’s fully embracing her retirement and everything it has to offer: good food, long naps, heated beds, toys, being brushed and pampered, etc. She’s loving her life of luxury but looks into your soul with her beautiful eyes and tells you just how incredibly grateful she is. Plus, she purrs, like A LOT and has a sweet, raspy chirp to let you know she’s happy.

Lottie is an older girl, around 7-8 years old, who came in with a fractured knee that should heal itself. Because of the knee and never growing up in a home, she’s a little bit like Bambi on ice on hardwood floors, so carpet is a bonus as she heals! Otherwise, she does get around fine and can jump up on her favorite chairs for a nice nap. Aside from the knee issue, Lottie is surprisingly healthy! She will need a dental procedure to tend to some dental disease but will be just fine and currently has no trouble eating.

She deserves a family who’s going to love her a lifetime’s worth to make up for her first tough years. Could potentially be good in a home with other pets with slow introductions and understanding of personal space (met resident cats while being fostered but did not have time to fully integrate).  Lottie is super easy – she’s happy to keep you company while you work but totally content to be by herself. As long as she’s got a cozy spot, regular feedings, and a hand to scratch her chin – she’s happy!
