Lyra & Sorli

❤️ Two street‑born joybringers who never learned what sadness was ❤️

Lyra — the fluffy girl with the soft, cloudlike coat — and Sorli — the bright, sunny orange boy — were found as older kittens frolicking together in the street, completely unaware that the world could ever be anything but fun. They played in puddles, chased leaves, pounced shadows, and curled around each other like two creatures who had already decided that life was good as long as they were together.

They had no clue what danger was. No clue what loneliness felt like. No clue that they were supposed to be afraid. They simply loved — loudly, joyfully, wholeheartedly — and they loved each other most of all.

Once rescued, their sweetness only deepened. Lyra is gentle, plush, and affectionate, the kind of girl who melts into your hands. Sorli is warm, goofy, and endlessly loving, a little orange heartbeat who follows his sister’s lead. They play in perfect rhythm, nap in a shared pile of fluff and sunshine, and seek out humans with the same openhearted trust they give each other.

They are truly bonded — not just companions, but soul‑linked kittens who grew up believing the world was kind because they had each other.

Lyra and Sorli are ready for a home that will keep their joy intact, their bond protected, and their hearts safe forever.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
