Mallowby

🖤 The broken‑hearted boy who kept loving the world anyway

Mallowby was found exhausted, hurting, and wearing a collar that had become tight around his neck — not because he was cared for, but because he had grown into it while no one bothered to loosen it. It was old, worn, and far too small, the kind of collar that tells a whole story without a single word. He once belonged to someone… and then he didn’t.

He didn’t know the streets.

He wasn’t built for them.

But he tried anyway, because that’s what gentle boys do when the world turns cold.

Once safe, Mallowby revealed who he truly is: a soft, goofy, heart‑first boy who leans into affection like he’s been waiting his whole life for someone to finally choose him. He chirps, he flops, he does silly little antics that make you smile even when you’re trying not to. His sweetness is effortless. His trust is astonishing. His hope is intact.

Mallowby is FeLV‑positive, so he needs to be an only cat or live with another FeLV‑positive friend — a simple boundary for a boy who has already survived so much.

He’s ready for a home that will never let his collar grow tight again.

A home that sees the sweetness, the goofiness, the softness, the resilience.

A home that understands that boys like him don’t come around often.

About Us

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.
