Name: Marcy

  • Age: 2-4 years
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Marcy has had a major glow-up. Though her past is somewhat of a mystery, it was clear she’d been abused by humans and was not thriving outside, leaving her skittish and afraid to trust—for good reason!

These days, Marcy is an adorable goofball who enjoys chasing her wand toy, lounging on top of her cat tree, and eating. She’s quite the gourmand. Marcy always cleans her plate (we’re not sure where it goes) but Churus are the fastest way to her heart.

Marcy is super playful, quick, and endlessly entertaining to watch as she runs around. It’s a far cry from when she first arrived—a silent, skinny kitty who wouldn’t leave the dark corner of a half-bathroom. She’s a little wacky now, full of energy, and quite chatty. Look into her puppy dog eyes and say anything—she’ll give you a cute chirp and trot over to you. In between playing and eating, she’s a cuddle bug who is happy to curl up on your lap or plop down next to you, requesting head rubs or showing off her striped belly for pets.

She has lived with other cats and we think she’d do well joining a home where there is already a resident cat(s), but would also do well in a calm home where she gets all the love and attention from a patient human who can earn her trust over time. She is cautious around new people, but once she trusts you and opens up, you’ll feel like you’ve hit the kitty jackpot.
