Meet Midnight, a black American short-haired male cat who is around 1 year old. At first, Midnight is a little shy about meeting someone new. Still, after a few minutes, he opens up because he figures the new person is there to give him attention (standard kitty logic). He is a curious, talkative, playful kitty who wants to be held and cuddled. He loves it when I pick him up and place him on my chest so that he can tuck his head under my chin, all while purring loudly. Midnight also loves to “tell” you about his day and rub against your legs, all while purring. While on your lap, he will purr loudly and kneed your legs and knees. Also, he LOVES catnip, and when I say love, I mean he rolls in it and even drools a bit, which is quite cute (see picture of him covered in catnip). When I found the poor little guy, he was starving, and as a result, he can be a little food-aggressive if fed around other cats. So, it is ideal if he is the only kitty in the home. Also, he tolerates my dog and isn’t afraid to let the dog know what his boundaries are. All Midnight wants is someone to give him 24/7 attention and someone he can love back.
