🪐 Meet Orbit – A Gentle Soul Who Deserves Better

Orbit’s journey hasn’t been easy — but he’s handling it with quiet grace.

Rescued from North Philly several years ago, Orbit was adopted in 2021 and settled into life with his person. He knew the comfort of home, routine, and belonging. Sadly, when his owner moved, they chose not to take him — seemingly unbothered by returning him.

Orbit, on the other hand, has had to quietly adjust to this sudden and heartbreaking change. He’s been back in rescue for several months now, doing his best to navigate life all over again. Older cats don’t always show their sadness in big ways. Sometimes it’s just a softer gaze, a quieter presence, a little more time spent observing the world around them.

Orbit is a calm, laid-back gentleman. He’s incredibly mellow, loves his treats, and previously lived peacefully with other cats. He isn’t demanding or high-energy — he simply wants a steady, loving environment where he can feel secure again.

He will need patience as he transitions into another new home. But with consistency, love, and commitment, we truly believe he will blossom back into his former self.

Orbit deserves someone who won’t be unbothered — someone who sees his quiet loyalty as something precious.

If you can offer him stability and a soft place to land, he’ll reward you with gentle companionship and a peaceful presence by your side. 💛
