Penelope (Penny) had a tough start in life—she was found on a cold March night, emaciated and meowing loudly on top of a dumpster outside a homeless shelter in North Philadelphia. Despite everything she had been through, she was immediately friendly and happy to be scooped up by her foster parents.
Since then, Penny has absolutely blossomed in her foster home. She is one of the most outgoing, affectionate, and people-loving cats we’ve ever met. Penny loves to play, be brushed, cuddle on your lap, and even gives kisses! She’s also very smart and loves to chat with you throughout the day.
Penny has made it clear that she prefers to be the only cat in the home—she’s not interested in sharing your attention with any other felines. She’s looking for a home where she can be the center of your world and get all the love she truly deserves.
She has excellent litter box manners, a great appetite, and is FIV/FeLV negative. Penny is estimated to be about a year old.
