🐾 Rabbit: The Boy Who Waited

Rabbit didn’t know why the door closed behind him. He didn’t understand why the voice he trusted never called his name again. All he knew was that he was alone.

For weeks, this snowy-white boy with eyes like pale blue porcelain wandered from yard to yard, sleeping beneath porches, watching windows glow with warmth he couldn’t reach. He was just a year old—still a baby in so many ways—but already learning how to survive without the comfort of a home.

And then, someone saw him. A kind neighbor opened their heart and gave Rabbit shelter, safety, and the first gentle touch he’d felt in a long time.

Now Rabbit is learning to trust again. He’s quiet, tender, and heartbreakingly sweet. He doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a gentle voice, and someone who won’t disappear. His blue eyes still carry the ache of abandonment, but they also hold hope. So much hope.

Rabbit is ready to be chosen—for real this time. If you have space in your heart for a boy who’s known sorrow but still believes in love, Rabbit will meet you there. And this time, he won’t have to wait alone.
