Name: Reggie

  • Age: 3-5 years old
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Orange tabby
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Reggie, AKA Big Red, was trapped in a  North Philadelphia neighborhood. Since he was very beat up and super friendly, it was decided not to release him and he was placed with a foster.  Reggie has had a really rough life on the streets but now he is thrilled to be inside where he is loved and fed every day.  As a result of all he has had to deal with on the streets, his left eye has permanent scarring and is red, however, the vet has stated that it is an old injury that does not require any medical attention.  He gets along very well with other cats and actually has a tendency to get bullied by the more dominant cats because he is such a nice guy.  At first, he was very defensive around  dogs, and he would jump at them whenever they walked by, but he is past all that now since he realizes they are not going to hurt him.  Reggie is a true cuddle bug who just loves to be loved, and he especially enjoys having his cheeks rubbed.  Words truly cannot capture what a sweetheart he is so if you need a lovebug in your life, Reggie is the cat  for you!

About Us

Stray Cat Relief is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing sterilization services and medical care to the stray cats in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our focus is finding homes for stray cats who’ve been abandoned and giving them a new chance at a loving home.
We are passionate about educating the community on the wellbeing of the stray animals in their neighborhood while also improving people’s lives by providing spay/neuter services to reduce the homeless animals on the streets.
We are a foster home and donation based rescue.
