River
5 Years Old | Dilute Calico | Survivor with a Sweet Soul

River was found in a place no cat should ever be—a rooftop above Dave & Buster’s, tucked inside an electric box with music blaring and danger all around. Just inches from a 500-foot drop into the Delaware River, she clung to life in the only shelter she could find. Matted, alone, and exposed to the elements, it’s clear she didn’t end up there by choice. She was abandoned—and she survived.

Despite everything, River is astonishingly sweet. The moment she was rescued, she leaned into kindness like she’d been waiting for it all along. Her dilute calico coat is as soft as her spirit, and her eyes hold the quiet wisdom of someone who’s seen the worst and still chooses love.

River is gentle, affectionate, and ready to leave her rooftop days behind. She’s looking for a home where safety is a given, love is abundant, and soft places to land are everywhere.

If you believe in second chances and the quiet strength of survivors, River is ready to meet you—with open paws and a heart full of hope.
