Name: Rue

  • Age: 8 months-1 year
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Type: Cats, Female
  • Vacinated: yes

Rue is a very very special girl. She was living outside, not doing well when she followed a local Philly cat feeder meowing. She was very skinny and didn’t look too healthy so she was hospitalized at our vet but they couldn’t figure out why she wouldn’t eat. After an ultrasound was done they found an obstruction in her intestine so she went to Penn to have emergency surgery. Turns out she ate a kitchen sponge! This poor girl was probably so desperate and hungry outside she ate whatever had a hint of food on it.

Well this little angel has been through a lot in her short life so far. But that’s over now! She’s eating well and gaining some weight, and is a healthy girl! She can be shy and nervous sometimes but man has she come out of her shell! She is showing the resident male cats who’s boss haha and loves to play with her mice and fuzzy balls! Her nicknames include Little One, Princess, Rue Bean, and Sasha Fierce lol. She is super sweet, loves affection, and has the most amazing vocabulary! She meows, peeps, squeaks, and trills…it’s absolutely adorable! Once she warms up to you she will also like to rub her face on yours and give your cheeks some grooming!

She would do best in a quieter home with no kids. She could do well as a solo kitty or with a another kitty who is cat friendly. Well this bio doesn’t do her justice. She’s an absolute cutie pie and so precious. You just have to meet her to see what I mean!
