EVERY DAY is TONGUE OUT TUESDAY for me! I’m Shiva and I’m 100% toothless. There’s nothing to prevent my cute pink tongue from popping out of my mouth but my foster mommy thinks I’m absolutely adorable because of it. I had stomatitis, a gum disease which meant I was allergic to my own bacteria in my mouth and the only way to heal was to go to the dentist. At first, they took out a few teeth but later I had to have them all yanked out. Ouch. But I feel sooo much better now! The beginning of my new life began when I was dumped at a colony of cats where the volunteers quickly recognized how super friendly I was. I would run-up to their cars and greet each one of them as they came to feed the crew. I loved all those crazy feral cats but I knew I was bound to be someone’s little love bug. Will that be you? I’m a total LAP CAT, love to sleep alongside you, I’m very tolerant of other cats so I’ve made a few friends along the way. I prefer eating mousse or pate since I don’t have teeth to chew. I have a 4-year-old zen personality but love a good chase of a mouse shaped toy which makes me the purrfect, furry friend you’ve been looking for.

Stray Cat Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing medical care to stray cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Our mission focuses on rehoming abandoned stray cats, offering them a chance for a loving home.

We are committed to community education on the welfare of stray animals and aim to enhance the quality of life for people by offering spay/neuter services, thereby reducing the number of homeless animals on the streets. Operating through foster homes and supported by donations, Stray Cat Relief is a rescue organization.
