Name: Stony Brook

  • Age: 6 months
  • Gender: female
  • Color: Tabby/White
  • Type: Female, Kittens
  • Vacinated: yes

This velvety soft, loving kitten has come into this world with a strong will to survive and a radiating love for everyone she has ever met. Stony Brook frantically cried for help when she was found all alone beside a stony creek as a young kitten barely clinging to life, alone, scared, and in critical condition. Her cry for help sounded to the ears of the world, and a great handful of people worked together to get Stony into safe and experienced foster home. Being in such critical condition, the unsettling concern for her survival grew stronger. After weeks of around the clock eye medications, it was believed that she had lost the vision in one of her eyes, but miraculously she has made a full recovery and has full vision in both eyes! Thankfully, due to hard work and diligent support care, Stony Brook transformed from a blind, frail kitten struggling for every breath, to a happy, healthy kitten that has her entire life ahead of her. Stony Brook befriends her fellow foster friends and is happy to greet you with chirps and purrs. Stony Brook will always have a special place in her everyone involved in her rescue and her foster mom’s heart, but she is ready for her forever home with her own family where she can continue to thrive!

About Us

SCRF’s mission is to prevent kittens being born into homelessness by providing Trap-Neuter-Return services. Additionally, SCRF provides medical care to urgently-sick strays in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Our focus is to find homes for stray cats who would have been abandoned and give them a chance at a loving home. We are 100% foster and donation based. We do not have a physical shelter location.
