Name: Theo

  • Age: 8 months-1 year
  • Gender: male
  • Color: Orange Tabby & White
  • Type: Cats, Male
  • Vacinated: yes

Theo was found by a homeless couple in Kensington in pretty bad shape.  He was skin and bones, weak and unable to walk.  We were contacted by Homeless Outreach for help and of course, we didn’t hesitate to take Theo in.  After spending a week in the hospital to get his strength back, he went into foster care where he has gained his weight back and is thriving.  It was determined that he has an old injury to his hip, which is why he was having trouble walking in the beginning..but now he runs, jumps and plays as if nothing is wrong.  Theo is very energetic, loves to play and get this…HE FETCHES!!  He loves his little mouse toy and he will bring it back to you every time!  Another quirk about Theo is that he has the cutest little silent meow.  He makes chirping noises but no sound comes out when he meows.

Theo would do best in a home with no small children as he tends to be a rough player.  He has been around other cats but again, he does play rough, but we think if he has a whole house to run around in, he might do well with another cat.  Theo is a sweet boy who had a rough start, but he is ready to find his forever home!

About Us

SCRF’s mission is to prevent kittens being born into homelessness by providing Trap-Neuter-Return services. Additionally, SCRF provides medical care to urgently-sick strays in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Our focus is to find homes for stray cats who would have been abandoned and give them a chance at a loving home. We are 100% foster and donation based. We do not have a physical shelter location.
