Theodore has sad eyes, but he’s a shy ball of sweetness! He was trapped on the streets of North Philly, but we’re pretty sure he was someone’s pet at some time. Once he warms up, he really enjoys cuddling and having his belly rubbed. He loves having his cheeks and the back of his neck scratched too. While in foster care, he showed no interest in play, and preferred to nap. When he visited the vet, the staff enjoyed holding him and passing him around like a baby.
Teddy would do best with a patient adopter, because it will definitely take him time to adjust to a new home. He’ll definitely need to be in one room to start, with any hiding spots blocked off. He is FIV+ which is a cat-only disease that is passed through deep bites. Teddy is not aggressive at all, but he should not be housed with other cats that are.
