Tommy was found as a stray with an open gash above his eye. This floofy boy was afraid of everything when he first came into foster care. As his wound healed and he learned that people were not out to hurt him he began to explore his foster mom’s home and gets along with small dogs and other cats. He shares his food bowl with his foster sister and loves lickable treats. He enjoys head bumps, scratches and pets but is still fearful of being held. He likes to survey his environment and once he gets “ the lay of the land” warms up and approaches for lovin’. The way to Tommy’s heart is through his tummy so treats and food are best when trying to help him acclimate and relax. He enjoys laying in various rooms of his foster home and making new kitty friends. He is moderate to low energy and approximately 3 years old. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and will be chipped before adoption. He is an angel at the Vet’s office but once at home will need some space to acclimate and some direction as he continues to learn to be an indoor pet. We are so happy Tommy was able to be socialized and learned to accept love from his foster mom.
