Our mission is to provide the highest standard of care for outdoor cats, while rescuing those cats and kittens who have the potential to live out the remainder of their lives in a permanent and loving home.
We are continually seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and offer assistance in the numerous areas required to operate this organization effectively. There are a variety of activities in which you can engage, tailored to fit your schedule and preferred level of involvement. Whether you are interested in participating in one-time events or contributing your skills to the operational aspects of our organization, we welcome your support.
Below are some of the ways you can volunteer your time and make a wonderful impact. We are open to other ways in which you see yourself making an impact. Just send us a message and we will make it happen.
Build Shelters
Join with other SCRF volunteers on our Shelter Build Days to build brand new or refurbish existing shelters as the seasons change.
There are many ways that you can help! Activities include collecting food, supplying donations, educating others on the benefits of TNR (or about cats in general), and many more. Let us help you find the best fit for you!
Want to help but do not have the time right now to volunteer?
Our outdoor colony kitties eat thousands of pounds of food per year. Many rescued cats require medical care and humane population control such as TNR, which is costly. If you are looking for other ways to help save lives, please consider supporting SCRF by making a tax deductible contribution via PayPal or Amazon. Every dollar counts.
As primarily a volunteer-based organization, any assistance provided goes straight to helping cats. Donations provide for food, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, medical care and shelter to keep them safe during bad weather.
Considering being a corporate partner? SCRF has ways for your business to get involved. From team-building and pet supply drives to event sponsorship – you can make a difference. For more information, contact us at purr@straycatrelieffund.org.
